We have experience of clearing all types of goods including fresh produce, timber, vehicles and household effects and are happy to offer FREE advice on import licensing, applicable import duty rates, import VAT, Customs tariff classification, phytosanitary certificates, GSP certificates etc.
If you would like us to arrange clearance of your consignment through HM Customs at a UK port or airport, we will require the following original documents: |

- Bill of lading (original) for sea freight shipments or copy of Airwaybill for air freight shipments
- Commercial invoice(s)
- Packing list
- Marine insurance certificate - if goods have been insured (*)
- GSP certificate - if applicable
(*) - If you are a UK based Limited company Wavecrest can now arrange marine insurance for your import shipments at competitive premiums.
For certain types of imported commodities import licences (e.g. some textile products), health certificates (e.g. some foodstuffs), phytosanitary certificates (for timber) etc. may be required. |
Once your goods have cleared through HM Customs, we can arrange for onward delivery throughout the UK or alternatively goods can be stored at our modern warehouse facility in Gravesend, Kent.
