WaveCrest Ltd
Established 1994

Import Services

Whether you are a first time importer or an "old hand", we are pleased to offer FREE advice based on our many year's experience gained in the freight industry on import duty rates, pseudo TURN, tariff classification, import licensing and other matters.

Wavecrest Ltd provides air and sea freight import services from the Far East, North America, Australasia, South Africa, the Indian Sub-Continent and other areas.

Road freight services are operated from mainland Europe, Scandinavia and Ireland.

Since our formation back in 1994 we have built a network of reliable partners in countries such as China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the USA, Australia, Malta, Cyprus, India and Sri Lanka.

If you entrust your import shipment to Wavecrest, our local overseas partner office will liaise directly with your supplier to ensure that your order is collected promptly from the factory and shipped or flown on the first available departure to the UK.

Wavecrest can now arrange competitively priced marine insurance cover for your goods during transit to the UK (NB - this service is currently only available to UK Limited companies)

On arrival in the UK, Wavecrest can arrange all required customs formalities and take care of import duty and VAT payments to HM Customs & Excise on your behalf.

After goods have cleared Customs, we can arrange immediate onward delivery or alternatively goods may be safely stored at our modern warehouse facility in Gravesend, North Kent for later distribution throughout the UK, to Europe or further afield.
