Wavecrest has purchased a probe attachment for its forklift truck.

Ideal for loading & unloading containers of carpets, rolled materials and even small pipework (up to 700Kg).

The probe is also ideal for redelivery of this material to transit vans, tilts and tautliners. Loading is fast and reduces the likelihood of damage.

The £45 Million jack-up rig Resolution arrived in London for a promotional visit.

Wavecrest were agents for the vessel's 5-day call. Six weeks of planning between Wavecrest and the Harbour Master, Port of London Authority, tug owners, and pilots were needed. This got the vessel safely under the QE2 bridge, through the Woolwich barrier and onto moorings just below Tower Bridge.

The Resolution is a "turbine installation vessel" used for the construction of wind farms. Work has just been completed at the Kentish Flats (off Herne Bay), with great success.
